Managing your booking orders can become quite complicated without the right process in place. Here are some essential tips you need to get organized and save you time in processing your Rezdy orders.

1. Create Internal Orders

With Rezdy, you don’t need to pay to get organized. Bookings created by you or your staff are always free and unlimited.

Typically, you would create an internal order when:

  • You get a POS (point of sales) booking.
  • An Agent gives you a call to make a booking.
  • A customer gives you a call to make a booking.

You will need to create a new internal order and either select an existing customer or create a new one. You can have multiple products and participants for each booking.

If it was an Agent referral you can select which Agent referred the customer via a dropdown. When you save it, the booking will default to a Confirmed status, but you can always change it.

2. Get organized from the start – import Customers

Don’t worry about how on earth you’ll get organized after switching over to Rezdy from your old booking system. If you have a big list of customers to add to Rezdy, it can be a pain to re-enter data each time you want to create an order.

Lucky for you, we have a Customer Import App. With this, you can upload an external customer database so that when you are creating internal orders, you don’t have to manually type in contact details every time.

3. Use an agenda to get organized

Sometimes you just want a quick breakdown of what’s on for a particular day.

Your calendar agenda allows you to see an outline of all your bookings starting from the day you have chosen on your calendar.

You can:

  • Change the date that you view your agenda from by choosing a date from the calendar on the left-hand side of the page.
  • View the orders associated with a particular session by clicking on the time of the session.
  • Sort your agenda by availability, price, product, and resource associated with each session.

4. Search & Filter Orders

If you need to quickly search through your bookings, then use the filters at the top of your orders list.

You can filter by:

  • Order type
  • Time of the order
  • Product type

You can also search for a particular order by entering the order number, product name, or any other keywords in the search field.

5. Cancel An Order

Customer cancellations are inevitable in the tour and activities sector. However, it’s a quick and easy update through your Rezdy booking system.

All you have to do is:

  • Click through to the order
  • Update the status using the dropdown
  • Apply your cancellation policy (manually)

Rezdy will not automatically apply a cancellation fee to any payment details stored. You have total control over this.
